Fifty years after their initial processing, the Cadwalader Papers were re-examined, re-housed, and inventoried more fully for a new finding aid. While ideally, this level of cataloging is recommended for all new acquisitions, it is often not possible. Under a grant from the Mellon Foundation, the Society is currently evaluating all unprocessed collections to identify and prioritize future projects.
