Knowing that people absorb history in many ways, The Historical Society of Pennsylvania endeavors to serve the public beyond the walls of the library. Through lectures, conferences, exhibits, and publications, the Society continues to fulfill the earliest promise of its founders: to elucidate history and to encourage many different paths to historical understanding.
