This collection contains multiple serials such as the Mayflower,  Home Queen,  The Ledger, and  Table Talk. All of which contain articles written by Phebe Westcott Humphreys and deal with various topics including horticulture, fasting diets, cooking, historic architecture, and more. Her by-lines vary as Phebe W. Humphreys, P.W. Humphreys or the pseudonym "Pheobus," as displayed in her  Home Queen article entitled "Queens Garden" in March of 1896.
